Experienced Wood Floor Layer

Location: London

Salary: Salary based upon experience and knowledge

Our clients have been working in wood for 25 years, providing architects, private customers, and contractors with bespoke joinery, cabinetwork, and flooring.

During the last 20 years, they have specialised in wide-board floating engineered floors with a very low movement factor (0.015%), 20 to 30 times more stable than solid oak flooring.

The Role

1. Levelling substrates
2. Lay screed to SR1 or better
3. Set out and lay wide board strip flooring and patterned flooring
4. Lay, sand and seal herringbone, chevron, Versailles panels and one-off floor designs

Skills and Qualifications

They would expect you to have experience of laying all types of high-quality timber floors along with:

1. Commitment to high-quality work
2. Your own set of fitting tools
3. Good English
4. CSCS certificate
5. A willingness to learn their special techniques
6. A full, clean driving license
7. Non-smoker
8. A desire to work in a secure, full-time position.
