An established and highly regarded property consultancy, operating since 1983, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Landlord & Tenant Surveyor to join their expert team. The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with landlords and tenants, providing expert advice on lease renewals, rent reviews, lease re-gearing, and restructuring. The role requires a commercially minded individual who can deliver strategic solutions tailored to each client's needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct lease renewal negotiations on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
2. Advise on rent reviews, analysing market evidence and determining rental values.
3. Manage lease re-gearing and restructuring to optimise property value.
4. Act as an Expert Witness in Independent Expert, Arbitration, and PACT referrals.
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service.
6. Stay informed of market trends, legislation, and best practices within the sector.

Candidate Requirements

1. MRICS qualification.
2. Proven experience in landlord and tenant surveying with a strong track record of successful client outcomes.
3. Experience in lease advisory.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
5. Analytical ability to interpret lease documentation and market data effectively.
6. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. In-depth knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation.
