Role & Company:

You are invited to join one of the most dynamic and lively consultancies where personality is king! The developments you may help bring to life include but are not limited to:

  1. High profile city centre office and mixed-use redevelopments;
  2. Large rural estate new builds;
  3. Educational and art institutions and museums.

You will be joining and leading a newly-established infrastructure team in a high-spec office, with plenty of support from one of the largest infrastructure teams in the capital, collaboratively. Meanwhile, the civil infrastructure team will grow around you with you as the technical lead and project-solving decision maker. As an employee, you personally will have the chance to contribute to the company culture and direction. The company has recently become an Employee-Owned Trust; meaning each team has a representative who will feed back to the trust on queries or ideas for the direction of the business.

Responsibilities: Production of engineering designs to support new developments, which may include:

  • Preliminary and detailed design development of surface & foul water drainage;
  • Hydraulic modelling using InfoDrainage;
  • Use of drawing design tools AutoCAD and Revit Viewer;
  • Management of Engineers and Technicians;
  • Liaison with Water Authorities, LLFA teams and statutory bodies;
  • Providing internal and external design best practice guidance;
  • Technical quality assurance;
  • Input into bid development.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Project ownership and management;
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineers;
  • Data analysis and research.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of related software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.
