Our team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity, strategic growth, and operational excellence. We are now looking for an experienced Senior Real Estate Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing our portfolio.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant with real estate experience to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will be an AAT-qualified professional with strong technical and commercial awareness.

Qualifications & Experience

• AAT qualified or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in real estate
• Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, QuickBooks, TaxCalc)
• Experience in SPV accounting, VAT returns, CIS returns, and management accounts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—a team player with a willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
• Oversee and assist with monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and CIS returns (prepare when necessary)
• Prepare and file end-of-year accounts in compliance with UK financial regulations
• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger management
• Handle tax preparation and filings
• Lead audit processes for SPVs and maintain accurate financial records
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth
