Drainage Team Leader

Our client, a large utilities contractor, is looking for a Drainage Team Leader to work on their waste water contracts attached to Scottish Water.

The nature of the work will be working in crews of 3 surveying the waste water network through Flow, Manhole, and CCTV surveys. Anyone with experience on waste water networks, sewers, and CCTV surveying of these networks would be a good fit.

As the Drainage Team Leader, you will be the most senior of a 2 or 3 person survey team, so having experience of looking after a number 2 / junior would be highly advantageous.

Key Duties

1. Surveying of waste water pipeline networks via CCTV, Flow Monitoring, and other techniques.
2. Accurate input of survey data into work systems.
3. Ensure traffic management is appropriately managed to ensure team safety.
4. Organisation of daily tasks, ensuring workload is managed and completed.
5. Reporting of critical incidents to office or client.
6. Offering great customer service skills to the client and general public.

Key Qualifications/Experience

1. Drainage sector experience such as CCTV Survey Experience or working with Sewers.
2. Confined Space Entry.
3. Full UK Driver's license.

Due to the company supporting multiple water networks, it's essential that any applicants are able to work away approximately 1 in 3 weeks. Please do not apply if you are not 100% sure you can commit to this.

The role is offered a salary of £30-£36,000 depending on experience with regular overtime available at 1.25 times on weekdays and 1.5 times at weekends.
