Information Technology Security Lead

Our client, a rapidly growing global leader in the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector is seeking an experienced IT Security Lead to join their team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security strategy of an expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive IT security standards aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Oversee security compliance across multiple territories.
3. Create, update, and enforce security policies and procedures.
4. Lead crisis management efforts related to cybersecurity threats.
5. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
6. Collaborate with external vendors for security solutions.
7. Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities.
8. Prepare regular reports for senior management on security status, incidents, and compliance metrics.

Qualifications:

1. 4-5 years of experience in IT security management or similar roles.
2. Proficiency in Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and ISO27001 standards.
3. Strong understanding of risk management frameworks.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
6. Assertive personality with strong stakeholder management skills.
