Datacentre Network Application Consultant (Enterprise Datacentre)

Seeking a Datacentre Network Application Consultant - (Enterprise Datacentre) with experience with typical application landscape within an enterprise data centre environment - 6 months+ ongoing long-term contract - Remote working - Inside IR35.

Please note - Security Clearance will be conducted so need UK-based candidates with 5 years residency history to be eligible.

Key skills and experience required:

• Analytical problem-solving skills for triaging of system alerts for mid-level issues.
• Ability to work with other team members to resolve issues and able to suggest and develop practical, rapid solutions for day-to-day issues.
• Experience with typical application landscape within an enterprise data centre environment.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining virtualized network environments.
• Strong experience with Cisco, F5, Palo Alto system administration including security and patch management.
• Solid understanding of networking principles including networking protocols, basic routing, ports, and firewalls.
• Ansible for configuration management and for automating repetitive, high-volume operational workloads.
• 10 years experience in a similar role.
• One or more related technical certifications in Network+, Cisco or Juniper network accreditations typically up to CCNP level.
