Lakeside Setting - Wonderful Wiremill

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of exceptional destination pubs with rooms, the Wiremill is a great fun place to work sitting beside a glorious lake nestled in the heart of the countryside. The converted 15th Century mill is the perfect setting to enjoy great food and drink and soak up fabulous hospitality for the day, or a well-earned longer break. With a large lakeside terrace, the pub is a bustling window on nature in summer and the traditional interior provides a cosy bolt-hole to relax and unwind bringing in guests all year round.

We are recruiting a contract chef to cover for 8 weeks with an immediate start through until the end of May 2025.

• Able to reliably manage the commute days, evenings, and weekends
• To provide your own transport as the location is remote
• Experienced in branded pub food and service
• Competent and able to take responsibility for running any section
• Able to work to precise company specifications for cooking and presentation
• Able to work fast and blend effectively with team colleagues
• A chef that enjoys the buzz of a busy service
• Able to follow and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
• Available to commit to an 8 weeks fixed term contract
• Experience in a similar high volume branded role with the ability to thrive in a high paced and exciting kitchen is required.
