KBS is looking to recruit a Crane Operator on a permanent basis based in Portsmouth.
Role Description: Port Operative Craft, Alongside Services, Portsmouth Naval Base.
The Port Operative Craft role is an exciting opportunity to work in a safe and flexible manner, primarily as a mobile Crane operator. Reporting to the Lifting Services Team Leader and working as part of the Lifting Services Team responsible for providing heavy lift services to Naval Ships and other areas of Portsmouth Naval Base.
The Role: Primarily as a mobile crane operator, undertaking training to enable you to operate all crane types and capacities, i.e. Gantry, dockside, and tower cranes. Operate all types of plant and carry out all aspects of any tasks as required by the Team Leader. This may include slinging operations, operating MHE, assisting the rigging department with line handling, and other tasks as required.
