Senior Financial Accountant

Our client, a leading consumer business, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in Hertfordshire. The main purpose of the role of Financial Accountant is to provide effective finance support and control to all areas of the business.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the month end and monthly reporting
• Review and analyse the monthly figures, and provide cashflow insight to the business
• Consolidation of budgets and forecasts, as well as monthly, quarterly, and year-end results
• Assisting with the upcoming adoption of IFRS-16
• Production of various Group Reporting outputs to Senior Management and the Board
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and ensuring appropriate VAT treatment is adopted

The ideal candidate:

Is an ACA/ACCA/CA qualified accountant who has gained exposure working outside of Audit. Experience working with an international client base is preferred. A solid academic background and a strong drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
