About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to support our data team and enhance operational efficiency. Working alongside Data Modellers, you will play a critical role in enriching user stories, refining data catalogues, and reviewing business process models from a data perspective. Your efforts will directly contribute to the alignment of reporting and migration to the CDM (Common Data Model) and LDM (Logical Data Model).

Main Duties

Collaboration with Data Modellers:

1. Work closely with Data Modellers to reduce context-switching, ensuring smoother workflows and faster delivery.
2. Enhance user stories to ensure they are comprehensive and actionable from a data perspective.
3. Validate and ensure that data catalogues produced by Business Analysts are fit for purpose, aligning with the team’s data needs.

Business Process & Data Perspective:

1. Analyze and review business process models and state transition diagrams, focusing on:
2. Lists of Values (LoVs)
3. Managing lifecycles of key concepts.

Requirements Management:

1. Triage incoming data requirements (new and change requests) to reduce the workload on Data Modellers.
2. Manage iterative changes to requirements and related documentation through effective clarifications and feedback loops.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within data architecture or migration projects.
• Strong understanding of data catalogues, user stories, and business process models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Data Modellers and Business Analysts.
• Familiarity with data lifecycle management and logical data models is a plus.
