5-10 years PQE as a qualified lawyer with strong contract drafting skills.
Experience in regulatory compliance and supervising legal teams.

Draft and negotiate commercial contracts including SAAS and Client Agreements.
Advise on regulatory challenges and liaise with the FCA for compliance.

Qualified Lawyer (5-10 years PQE)

We are representing a Fintech Payments Company, specialising in Credit Cards & Payment Services in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in their London Office. This role is perfect for someone already working in-house within Financial Services, looking to grow their knowledge and start managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial contracts; including SAAS Agreements, Client Agreements, NDA's and Partnership Agreements.
Advising the company on any regulatory challenges they may face and liaising with the FCA to ensure compliance. Horizon scanning will come into this.
Working on Corporate transactions (including M & A).
Assisting with Litigation and Data Protection matters from time to time.
Collaborating with the wider legal team and other stakeholders of the business.
Supervising junior members of the legal team.

Qualifications:

5-10 years PQE E & W Qualified Lawyer.
Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiations, and regulatory compliance (FCA).
Experience supervising junior members of the legal team.
Must have worked within an FCA Regulated Company.
