An "Outstanding" Secondary School in the Borough of Newham is on the hunt for a Social Science Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Job Description
The Head Teacher is keen to appoint a hardworking, driven, and flexible Social Sciences Teacher who can teach several subjects, ideally including:

1. Humanities - History or Geography
2. Health & Social Care
3. RE
4. Citizenship
5. PSHE
6. Sociology
7. Psychology

Must be able to teach any of the subjects to either a KS3-5 level.
TLR Opportunities available. ECTs are urged to apply.

Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 + TLR
Location: Inner London, Borough of Newham
Start Date: September 2025

Person Specification
Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it.
Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
Must be willing to listen to feedback.
