Our client is looking for an experienced EC+I engineering manager for a project down in Reading. They will need to attend site 2 days a fortnight and the rest can be completed at home. This role is Outside IR35 and DV is required.

Our client, a key player in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking an Engineering Manager with a focus on Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the EC&I engineering team for AWE design projects.
- Overseeing the design phase of ongoing and future projects.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
- Collaborating with other teams within the One Team framework.
- Attending on-site meetings at the Calleva site, typically two days every two weeks.
- Maintaining the highest levels of project documentation and reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Current SC or DV clearance.
- Strong background in EC&I or Electrical Engineering Management, specifically within design projects.
- Significant experience in managing complex engineering projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to attend on-site work at the Calleva site as required (2 DAYS A FORTNIGHT).
