Are you looking for a role that doesn't require business development?

We are working with an international law firm that is looking to hire a Legal Director or Junior Partner in London.

The firm is well known in the shipping market and has developed a successful dry shipping and sanctions practice. They have some interesting cases that require offering real-time advice to shipowners and charterers. A client following is not required, so if you’re looking for promotion or change of scenery, then this role could be a great opportunity.

You'll need to be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 8 PQE (ideally more) with a proactive approach and leadership qualities. Previous sanctions experience is not required; dry shipping disputes or compliance from a P&I club, shipowner or law firm would be ideal.

The firm has a modest hourly target (14500), a relaxed, collegiate working environment, and a hybrid working policy with 3 days in the office.
