Leveraged Finance Associate | German Speaker | Top-Tier Bank/Asset Manager

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its team in London. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of full-time experience in leveraged finance and private credit, with fluency in German. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structuring and execution of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings and high-yield debt issuances.
• Support the development of financing strategies and provide market insights to senior stakeholders.
• Draft and review transaction documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external parties to manage the due diligence process.
• Utilize German language skills to support cross-border transactions and international client relationships.
• Contribute to the preparation of credit proposals and other transaction-related materials.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 2 years of full-time experience in leveraged finance, private credit, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Background: Experience working in investment banking, private credit, or leveraged finance with a focus on corporate lending and capital markets.
• Desirable: Experience in advising on cross-border transactions and familiarity with credit structuring.
