STOCK CONTROLLER

Salary/Rate: £20k - 25k per year + pension, annual leave

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Stock Controller to join our clients Warehouse team in a busy engineering business based in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders from stock
• Packing outgoing orders with reference to delivery notes
• Liaising with couriers and coordinating transport bookings
• Producing logistical documentation such as commercial invoices and delivery/collection notes
• Locating stock items to their correct locations
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Working efficiently as part of a team and assisting in other business areas as needed
• Ensuring high standards for Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental Standards
• Communicating effectively with staff and management
• Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in approach to work

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
• Ability to drive
• Experience with a counterbalance forklift is desirable
• Numerate and literate with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong team player
