Product Business Analyst (Agile, ISO 20022, Cash Modernisation, TCS BANCs, Securities) – Banking – Brussels
Duration: 6 months
Rate: 500 – 800 Euros per day
The Product Strategy and Innovation division is looking for a Product Business Analyst for the Cash & Banking domain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the Cash modernization Programme, which aims to create a modern, resilient, and secure payment infrastructure.
- Analysing market changes to determine if IT developments or process changes are required.
In your role, you will be requested to:
- Understand and align your stakeholder’s needs (Operations, Clients, Product managers, Commercial and Network).
- Define the most optimal scope and, in collaboration with the agile teams and architects, ensure the solution to deliver focuses on the true demand and is aligned with market practice.
- Ensure proper documentation of business requirements (including the production of structured business processes, NFR’s & CARDI log) to be used by IT (GBS primarily) and other stakeholders.
- Help to prioritize the different scope items to optimize the business value, taking into consideration market deadlines, dependencies, client & operational impacts and IT capacity (MVP approach).
- Manage changes in the scope: ensure end-to-end impacts are taken into consideration and the different business stakeholders understand and are aligned on the scope evolution and solution.
- Work hand in hand with the project sponsors for the sponsorship committees.
- Perform the risk assessment of the service evolutions in coordination with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal and obtain approval from the relevant committees.
- Ensure results meet requirements regarding solutions, schedule, and cost, so that expected benefits can be met.
- Prepare client documentation such as service descriptions, newsletters, and contracts.
- Participate in RFP with external providers.
- Provide support to the migration and commercial teams for new client onboarding (including contacts with clients where relevant).
- Act as second-line expert support in the post-launch period and suggest improvements to the service level and client satisfaction.
- Regularly report progress/issues to management.
Qualifications for the role include:

- Business and/or technical knowledge in the cash domain, with previous experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and convince stakeholders, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in Agile and ISO 20022 is a plus.
