Product Support Manager

Exciting Opportunity at Johnson Controls – Product Support Manager – YORK Chiller Solutions. REMOTE Working opportunity based in Europe!

Are you an experienced technical specialist with a strong background in YORK Chiller Solutions? Do you have a passion for troubleshooting, product development, and global technical support? Johnson Controls is looking for a Product Support Manager to join our team in Europe, supporting our YORK product line.

What You Will Do:

• Provide expert technical support for YORK products to our Field Sales and Service teams globally.
• Work closely with internal Johnson Controls Production Systems (JCPS) engineers and organizations via phone, video conference, email, or site visits.
• Ensure consistency across all product offerings and assist with department operations.

How You Will Do It:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for YORK products via phone, video, email, or on-site visits.
• Develop and maintain technical service bulletins, service letters, and updates for the Solutions Database.
• Offer input and feedback to enhance product service literature quality.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration cycles applied to air-conditioning and heat pump duty on BE equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical component issues, including low and medium voltage VSDs in BE air-conditioning and industrial equipment.
• Play a key role in the Product Development Process.
• Drive product reliability improvements through the Continuous Improvement Process.
• Conduct on-site audits at plants, suppliers, and customer sites as needed.
• Adhere to Johnson Controls’ Code of Conduct, Business Ethics Standards, and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical, or Scientific fields with at least 8 years of YORK Chiller trouble shooting experience OR a minimum of 12 years of hands-on technical experience in YORK Chiller troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex product system problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and email communication.
