Lead Driller
Location: South East Wales
Job Type: Permanent, Full time with UK-wide travel
Salary: Up to £50,000 Depending on experience

We are currently recruiting a Lead Rotary Driller to work with our client who specializes in geotechnical, geo-environmental, and ground investigation services. Roles & Responsibilities
- Operation of multi-purpose geotechnical drilling rigs
- Onsite drilling operations and management of drilling support operatives
- Undertake geotechnical sampling, coring, open holding, and in-situ testing to recognized industry standards
- High-quality installation of geotechnical and geo-environmental monitoring equipment
- Create daily driller log sheets
- Follow company H&S procedures
Your Skills and Experience
- In-depth working knowledge of drilling rigs and their capabilities
- Minimum 2 years lead rotary drilling experience is required
- Good knowledge of the UK ground investigation industry standards and working practices
- Happy to work all over the UK and stay away overnight
- Good planning and time management skills
- Industry relevant tickets/qualifications ideally: CSCS, Shea Gas, BESC, PTS, CAT, manual handling, and first aid
- Good communicator as will be dealing with clients and staff
- Clean driving license ideally with entitlement for towing and driving vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
