Job description

Tax & Treasury Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a global manufacturing business.

They are seeking a Tax Manager to join their existing tax team for a 6-month contract.

You will be able to work remotely but must be based in the UK.

This is a broad role covering Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT across the UK and EMEA.

The focus of your role is compliance and reporting - Advisory/strategy will be managed by the Tax Director.

Compliance is with external advisors; you will manage this relationship ensuring that all information is shared accurately and on time.

Reporting is internal, and currently a relatively manual process.

Whilst this isn’t a greenfield position, a significant part of your role will be to review and improve all systems and processes. This could include the recommendation of implementing specific software.

To be successful in this role, you need to have significant experience managing UK and EMEA taxes within an in-house tax function.

Ideally, you will have been instrumental in finance and/or tech transformation projects.

Regarding salary, you can expect a day rate of £450 – 550.
