To be eligible, you will have RCP membership or equivalent experience and training, be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice, and be on the specialist registration in Geriatric Medicine or within 6 months of CCT for Geriatric Medicine or related specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Development: Help maintain and develop Medicine for Older People services to the highest standards.
2. Collaborative Care: Work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality care in both community and inpatient settings.
3. Teaching & Training: Support the teaching and training of junior staff, medical students, nurses, and allied health professionals.
4. Clinical Governance: Actively participate in departmental and Trust-wide Clinical Governance, Audit, and Quality Improvement initiatives.
5. Professional Development: Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities and maintain a commitment to revalidation.
