Halyard is a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering company providing services including site studies, design, procurement, cost control, program management, construction management, and commissioning in the mining and utilities sectors.
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we work closely with our wholly owned subsidiary Micon International with offices in Toronto, Truro (UK), and Norwich (UK). While this role is based in the UK, it will support and work under the direction of the Toronto engineering team. The intention is to build and develop engineering capability in the UK that will, in the short term, support the Canadian operations but in the medium term establish a fully functioning engineering office in the UK.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for working with the discipline engineers but have a strong focus on the mechanical packages.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager but working on a specific job for the Project Manager, this is an engineering role with a high degree of project management. The role requires a high degree of relevant engineering judgment to affect the management functions of this position. The work will require site time in addition to time spent in the UK and/or Toronto office. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute to the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
