IT Desktop Support Role

Location: City of London (4 days in office)

Overview

A leading global Financial Services business is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team to help provide vital technical and operational support to the business. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company runs effectively whilst mitigating risk and complying with regulation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
2. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications
3. Maintain and update IT documentation and inventories
4. Assist with network connectivity issues and basic troubleshooting
5. Support end-users with hardware and software-related issues
6. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures
7. Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of new hardware
8. Assist with planning and implementation of new IT projects

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in an IT Desktop support role
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with Citrix Director, Jamf, Bloomberg, and MarketAxess highly desirable
