Multiple Senior Structural Designers are required to work on an initial 12 month contract basis that will allow the opportunity to work on a fully remote basis.

As the Senior Structural Designer, you will have experience of PDMS software – ideally E3D software but this isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.
• Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve technical queries, ensuring all design changes are captured by the change control process.
• Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
• Produce structural design drawings / 3D models.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
• Check structural drawings.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and third parties on technical project issues.
• Ensure compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international, and client codes and standards.
• Ensure all work complies with Contract Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.

Additional Design Deliverables to Check:

• Experience with structural general arrangement drawings.
• Experience with structural destruct drawings.
• Experience with installation methodology drawings / documents.
• Experience with survey reports.
• Experience with construction work pack input.
• Experience with weight control reports.
