We are looking for an exceptional Senior Products Lawyer to join our team, reporting to the General Counsel. In this role you will work with colleagues across our business to deliver exciting new products and innovative processes while ensuring that legal risks are appropriately identified and managed.

- Lead legal’s partnership with the product, operations, engineering, marketing and compliance teams, advising on all aspects of legal and regulatory compliance.
- Think creatively to shape product initiatives to facilitate innovation and commerciality, while ensuring we comply with relevant law, regulation and best practice.
- Work with our marketing team to deliver exciting marketing campaigns and partnerships with influencers, introducers and advertisers.
- Be responsible for advising on and maintaining our contracts with customers in relation to our regulated dealing and custody service, securities lending, ISAs and SIPP.
- Advise on regulated outsourcing and key contracts with our critical service providers.
- Develop, maintain and implement internal policies and procedures for the appropriate management of legal and regulatory risk.
About you:
- You have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience working in the financial institutions practice of a leading law firm and/or an in-house legal function of an FCA-regulated retail investment firm.
- You have a strong technical knowledge of all the key aspects of the law and regulations relating to retail investment firms, including FSMA and the RAO, financial promotions, and the FCA rules relating to investment firms and retail custodians.
- You understand the legal and tax structures, mechanisms and requirements which enable the delivery of retail investment products and services, including trading, custody, ISAs and personal pensions.
- You have excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- You can problem-solve independently, prioritise effectively, be proactive and take ownership of your impact within the business.
- You will ideally have experience working with tech companies and/or high-growth organisations.
