Options Resourcing have been tasked to source a Roofing & Cladding Estimator for our client in Cheltenham. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the industry’s most respected names in roofing and cladding. Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator to join this dynamic and growing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and competitive pricing of projects, contributing to the company’s continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of roofing and cladding projects, including flat roofing, green roofing, metal roofing, wall cladding, rainscreen cladding, and refurbishment projects.
2. Tender Preparation: Manage the tendering process, including the preparation and submission of bids to clients, ensuring all requirements are met.
3. Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
4. Cost Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities associated with project estimates and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry developments to ensure competitive pricing.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house design team, project managers, and other departments to ensure estimates align with project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably within the roofing and cladding sector.
2. Strong understanding of various roofing and cladding systems, including green and sustainable solutions.
3. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
5. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
8. A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic.
