IT Field Cable Technician

Job Description

Gold Pyramid Tech is looking for Service Technicians with experience and/or certifications for Low Voltage Cabling, CCTV Installation, and Audio Visual Installation. Technicians must have their own work tools, safety equipment, and reliable transportation for this position. Pay will be negotiated during the interview process. This is a 3 to 6 month contract to hire. After 90 days, a review will be held for direct hire. We are looking for individuals that can help build our Field Service team. This position has a lot of room for growth and must be professional.

Responsibilities:

1. Travel to site locations; overnight stays will be provided by Gold Pyramid Tech.
2. Respond to service calls from home.
3. Installation and service of network equipment.
4. Terminate Cat5/Cat6 cable, RG6, RG11.
5. Perform physical tasks including lifting a ladder.
6. In-wall cable fishing, television wall mounting, mounting and wiring speakers, and outdoor security camera installation.
7. Training will be provided.

Work Schedule:

48-hour work week, Monday to Thursday (12-hour days). Sunday and Friday are travel days. Approved overtime is available.
