Join a Leading Powertrain Manufacturer as an Experienced NDT Technician


Arden White, in partnership with one of the world’s leading powertrain manufacturers, is looking for an experienced NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the motorsport industry and eager to make a significant impact on high-performance components.


About the Role

As an NDT Technician, you will play a critical role in inspecting in-house and customer-manufactured parts using the latest NDT tools and techniques. You will ensure that inspection and processing equipment is maintained to optimal operational and calibration standards, contributing to the highest levels of safety and performance in motorsport engineering.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform checks for both penetrant and magnetic particle testing (MPI), ensuring logs are accurate and up-to-date.
  2. Inspect components for any discontinuities or imperfections that could affect performance.
  3. Collect and send penetrant samples for analysis to ensure quality control.
  4. Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment, ensuring its readiness for testing and compliance with all operational standards.

What You Need to Succeed:

  1. NDT Level II qualification to BS EN 4179 NAS 410, or working towards it.
  2. Strong technical judgment with the ability to apply sound engineering principles.
  3. Effective planning, management, and implementation of NDT activities, ensuring efficiency and precision.
  4. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
