Cloud Engineer (Iot)

We are currently looking for a Cloud Software (IoT) Engineer to join a client of ours on some ongoing projects. The project is due to go on for an initial 3 months, with possible extensions. Being based in the Thames Valley, we are looking for someone that is able to work on site 1 day per week, on a hybrid arrangement.

Requirements:

1. IoT systems integration, protocols, and services, gRPC and MQTT
2. Cloud architecture and service implementation
3. Linux, Python

Desirable Additional Skills:

1. Service deployment, IaC, containers, Docker etc.
2. WAN networking and network performance modelling/optimisation
3. CI/CD pipelines, GIT version control, scripting, automation
4. Experience and interest in the space industry
5. System modelling, including Matlab/Simulink
6. AI/ML, particularly for optimisation
