Salary: £16.59 PAYE (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) | £18.21 P/H LTD Umbrella

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Cheshire, CW11 | Hybrid (2 Days Per Week in Office)

Start Date: ASAP

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 09:00am - 17:00pm

Join our team as a Communications Officer to help drive engagement and promote our clients' priorities through innovative campaigns. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the reputation of our client by crafting communications that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement cost-effective, audience-specific communications plans that align with the Council's objectives.
2. Commission creative communications products from both internal and external providers.
3. Set, monitor, and evaluate SMART objectives for communications activities, ensuring success through measurable outcomes.
4. Contribute to a coordinated schedule of communications to promote Council initiatives.
5. Build and maintain a network of influential contacts to support the Council's communications goals.
6. Offer expert advice to colleagues and partners on their communications strategies.
7. Uphold and contribute to the development of the Council's corporate visual identity.

Qualifications And Experience:

1. Degree or equivalent in a communications discipline.
2. Proven experience in a marketing or PR communications role.
3. Ability to develop creative communications products across various platforms.
4. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and specialist software such as Hootsuite.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
6. A good understanding of local government issues is highly desirable.
