The Audio Visual (“AV”) Specialist is tasked with setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment for various events such as conferences and meetings. This role ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of all AV systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and high-level client service as needed. Responsibilities also include ordering supplies and scheduling vendor support for maintenance and repairs.
The AV Specialist oversees the overall service delivery, managing daily meetings and special events. They run reports, set and evaluate standards, and measure the AV service’s performance, collaborating with the AV Services Manager. These reports are regularly submitted to the IT Director of Europe and Asia, and the Director of User Experience.
Additionally, the AV Specialist develops and implements firm-wide projects, coordinating with other departments and vendors. They also lead AV responsibilities for UK and EU retreats, town halls, and high-profile events, ensuring successful staffing and execution.
