Network Security Engineer Role

New permanent opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to join a Global IT Consultancy based in London.

Please note: This position is hybrid and requires candidates that can visit the central head office in London.

Network Security Engineer Responsibilities

1. Installing and configuring network devices
2. Troubleshooting issues and supporting end users on any network infrastructure topics
3. Documenting network configurations
4. Setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment

Network Security Engineer Required Experience

1. 4-5 years’ experience in network engineering, ideally working at IT Consultancies or Telecoms companies
2. Good experience in firewall deployment and administration, ideally with Palo Alto and/or Checkpoint specifically
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Routing and Switching (CCNP preferred)
5. Network monitoring (SolarWinds)

Network Security Engineer Application Process

This is a permanent requirement with a start date ASAP; CVs are currently being considered and interviews are taking place across November. The interview process will be 2 stages and candidates will need to be available in no more than 4 weeks in order to be considered.
