About LocaeRise

LocaeRise is a mission-driven e-commerce and fundraising platform dedicated to supporting schools and local businesses. We are growing our social media presence and need a creative Video Creator to help us craft engaging, viral-worthy content that drives awareness and sales.

Role Overview

We are looking for a volunteer Video Creator to produce short, engaging videos for our social media platforms. You will use CapCut and other video tools to create:

• Thought-provoking clips

Your role will help us create compelling content that connects with our audience and drives engagement, awareness, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

1. Use CapCut to create and edit short-form videos.
2. Transform podcast recordings into highly engaging 60-second clips.
3. Create meme-style videos with text overlays, subtitles, and trending sounds.
4. Produce product highlight videos that showcase our best-selling items.
5. Edit and refine thought-provoking clips based on trending topics, using engaging storytelling techniques.

Social Media & Trend Adaptation

1. Research and identify viral video trends and sounds.
2. Incorporate trending effects, transitions, and hashtags to maximize reach.
3. Optimize content for high engagement and shareability.
4. Work closely with the Marketing & Podcast team to align content with brand messaging.
5. Ensure video clips align with ongoing campaigns.
6. Deliver weekly content batches in advance to allow for scheduling.

What We’re Looking For

1. Basic Video Editing Skills: Experience using CapCut, InShot, or similar video editing tools.
2. Creative Storytelling: Ability to turn raw footage into engaging, fast-paced content.
3. Understanding of Social Media Trends.
4. Eye for Viral Content: Understanding of what makes videos engaging, shareable, and high-performing.
5. Strong Communication & Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with marketing, podcast, and sales teams.
6. Self-Starter: Able to take direction and work independently to produce high-quality content.
