Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Goole

Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months (with the possibility of extension or temp to perm)

Salary: From £13.10 per hour (overtime paid at time and a quarter)

Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of motors and gearbox components. Your key tasks will include:

1. Efficiently cleaning industrial components using COSHH assessed substances
2. Operating dry ice blasting equipment or industrial wash machines
3. Moving and preparing materials to support production activities
4. Recycling waste/consumable materials as per Company requirements
5. Upholding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
6. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

1. Experience in a production environment
2. Ability to work with small parts and interpret technical instructions/diagrams
3. Familiarity with power tools, ideally blast machinery
4. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial
5. Previous experience as an operator or in assembly/manufacturing processes

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

1. Previous cleaning experience (training will be provided)
2. A proactive approach to health and safety practises

Technologies:

1. Dry ice blasting equipment
2. Industrial wash machines
3. COSHH compliant cleaning substances
