If so, this is your opportunity to join Arla’s Procurement team and be part of an exciting transformation journey and create value for our dairies globally. This opportunity is based at our Head office in Leeds and you will report to our Procurement Senior Manager.
“You will join a global team spread across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland, Bahrain, Riyadh and Hong Kong. Here, you will be part of the Procurement team responsible for sourcing Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects for Arla’s ~60 production sites. We are today a team of six professionals and are looking forward to welcome our new colleague. Our team buys a broad range of investments for Arla globally which could be everything from a new milk filling line to a complete building and we are currently in a growth period with exciting investments ahead of us” says Tevfik Ektas as the hiring manager.

As our new Procurement Category Manager you will be working closely together with global procurement colleagues, engineering & technology, project management teams and business stakeholders to:
As this role involves close collaboration with various production sites, procurement colleagues and suppliers, frequent travel is to be expected.
What will make you successful
Your background covers a minimum of 7 years’ of strategic procurement experience supplemented by a relevant degree, preferably within engineering. You have a solid understanding of the complexity of driving projects of various sizes, which you may have acquired from working with procurement or another relevant field, preferably in the dairy, building/construction industry or similar. Previous experience within civils procurement and Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) is a strong advantage.
You have well-versed stakeholder management skills and know how to develop strong relations with people across cultural borders and with various backgrounds. This includes applying a sound business understanding, an open mindset, strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt your communication directly to all levels of the organization.
Personally, you see yourself as an outgoing, independently working change agent with a strong drive and win-win approach. You are motivated by achieving your goals both independently and in close collaboration with others. You are a team player who thrives in a dynamic, global environment with many stakeholders and are perceived as a role model on both behavior and work competencies as well as a problem solver by colleagues. Lastly, you are fluent in written and spoken English as the role involves a large global network.
