Responsibilities
Develop and refine recipes for new and existing beers.
Oversee daily brewing operations, mashing, fermentation, and conditioning.
Monitor quality control throughout the process to ensure consistency and excellence.
Manage inventory of raw materials and oversee purchasing.
Maintain brewing equipment and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation.
Lead tours of the brewery.
Train and mentor brewing staff.
Collaborate with our internal product development team.
Analyse brewing data and adjust processes to improve efficiency and output.
Stay current with industry innovations and technology.
Create product production plans to align with company strategy.
Oversee and manage packaging of products.
Person Specification
Minimum 5 years of experience in a brewing environment.
Degree in brewing science, food science or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of brewing techniques, equipment and quality control.
Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to work.
Computer literate with good skills in MS Office and systems.
Making sound and good decisions.
Professional and personable manner.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
