Job Description

Financial Analyst

• Cost Analysis & Control: Analyze production costs, material costs, and overheads to optimize manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, manage, and track annual budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Variance Analysis: Identify and explain variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profitability analysis and cost breakdowns.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: Monitor inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure accuracy.
• Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Analysis: Evaluate investment proposals, ROI, and financial feasibility of new equipment or process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

• Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable procedures.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
