Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. The role includes planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
  2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages active participation.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development and well-being.
  5. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  6. Manage classroom resources effectively and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  7. Support the school’s policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and equality.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  3. Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
