Salary: Up to £36,000, dependant on experience
Location: Bath

My client is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and forward-thinking School Grounds and Gardens Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing the efficient cleaning, maintenance, safety, and security of the school’s grounds and gardens, ensuring they are well-maintained and safe for all users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about grounds management and looking for a rewarding role within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

1. Full, clean, and current driving licence (including tractor driving and trailer towing)
2. NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent
3. Experience managing and supervising a team
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
5. Ability to perform minor repairs and general cleaning duties
6. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
7. Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
8. Understanding of required maintenance, services, and repairs
9. Excellent communication skills with staff, students, and parents
10. A current enhanced DBS certificate
11. Exceptional organisational abilities

Candidates must be DBS cleared or eligible.
