An exciting opportunity is available for a physiotherapist with occupational health experience to join a friendly and supportive team in the Occupational Health department at Salisbury Foundation Trust. You will be invaluable in helping to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS work staff and help the Trust with its commitment to fulfilling the NHS People Plan and People Promise.
Occupational Health Physiotherapists utilise their skills to accelerate workers' recovery from, or self-management of, their musculoskeletal conditions and thereby assist their ability to undertake their jobs efficiently and effectively. You will also play a key role in helping to prevent or reduce sickness absence from musculoskeletal disorders by providing early and easy access to high standard, highly specialist Physiotherapy assessment and phased return to work programs.
Provide expert advice to and work closely with General Practitioners, Occupational Health Physicians, Occupational Health Nurses, and Line Managers regarding individuals' fitness to work/return to work and provide workplace ergonomic assessments to prevent/reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury to staff and patients.
