BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

Location: Remote (with some ad-hoc travel to offices - as & when required)

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

As the Business Intelligence Lead, you will play a crucial role in working closely with both the business and the Operations BI team to design and develop reports that enable real-time review of key performance data. This data spans multiple operating systems and will empower better, data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Job Description

You will identify data patterns and trends, diagnose problem areas, and highlight best practices. Monitoring the quality of data, you’ll support the implementation of BI solutions to ensure end users can utilise the insights effectively. This position allows you to shape and optimise data-driven decision-making processes while advancing your career.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with the business, primarily with P&C (HR)
2. Manage requirements for existing and new reports
3. Build reports based on business needs
4. Resolve technical issues related to reports
5. Stakeholder management, comfortable challenging and escalating when necessary
6. Ability to discuss technical requirements in easily understandable way for non-technical stakeholders

About You

1. Demonstrable experience of working as a BI Analyst / Data Analyst / HR Analyst or similar role
2. Experience in manipulating large data sets in a professional environment
3. Proficient user of Tableau and other data visualisation tools.
4. Any experience with Power BI would also be desirable.
5. Experience with GDPR and data sensitivity
6. Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with a high standard for data accuracy
7. Collaborative and able to work with various stakeholders
8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced sector
