Job description

Hotels, Gastro Pubs, Restaurants and Care Homes in Thirsk and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Immediate start

We are looking for flexible chefs who can work in a variety of properties, sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirements of the property.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region that require Relief Chefs with DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year-round work available.

Requirements:

  1. Chefs must have worked to at least Sous Chef level.
  2. Excellent all-round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section.
  3. Experience in fast-paced kitchens using all fresh produce.
  4. DBS checks or willingness to obtain one is essential.
  5. Own transport is advantageous but not essential.
