Personal Care Assistant for a Young Person P/T @ £15.00/hr in Nailsea, BS48

Due to being let down by the person I recently employed for this role, I am again looking for someone upbeat and positive to support my 24-year-old daughter who has Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, for 6 to 8 hours per week in Nailsea.

Patience, empathy, and a calm approach in sometimes challenging situations, along with experience in care, are essential.

The role includes taking my daughter out on activities she enjoys, such as bike riding, bowling, cinema, swimming, and horse riding, and supporting her within her flat if required.

Responsibilities:

1. Meal Preparation
2. Personal Care
3. Domestic Care
4. Social and Leisure Activities
5. Support to Remain Independent
6. Transportation

Minimum Requirements:

1. Full UK Driving License
2. Own Personal Car
3. Experience in Continence Care
4. Epilepsy Awareness
5. First Aid Certification
6. Safeguarding Adults/Children Training
7. Food Hygiene Training

Schedule, Pay & Hours:

Time: 6 to 8 hours per week

Pay: £15.00/hr
