The firm / team:

1. Successful candidates can look forward to joining a storied and historic full-service law firm, specialising in employment law, looking to strengthen their Employment offering with the addition of an Employment Associate.
2. They are considered to be amongst the leading firms in London for Employment law, ranked in the Legal 500 for their Employment law offering.
3. You will be joining a large and specialised team, with over 20 fee earners, working across various jurisdictions and areas of employment law, covering both respondent and claimant work, with an advisory and contentious focus.
4. This is a hardworking firm, offering a market-leading salary with a reasonable chargeable hours contribution.

The role:

1. As an Employment Associate within the team, you can expect to undertake a broad range of work with a supportive collegiate department.
2. The firm is looking for someone capable of developing into a trusted advisor to their biggest clients across the technology, financial services, and partnership sectors.
3. The work involved will include advising on both advisory and contentious matters, such as employee contracts, TUPE, and redundancies, as well as tribunals, restrictive covenants, workplace investigations, and high court litigation.
4. Advising and representing employees and employer clients including small to medium companies, PLCs, and partnerships.

About you:

1. Applications are sought from talented Associates with at least two years' PQE, qualified in England & Wales or a similar, leading common law jurisdiction.
2. You will possess strong academics and a confident understanding of employment law, ideally from a Top 100/Legal 500 background.
3. Candidates should have strong organisation skills and a keen interest in joining one of the UK's most well-known firms.
