Ecologist

Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP26,000-GBP35,000

I am looking for a consultant Ecologist to join a fantastic team in Manchester!

This role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team that is passionate about providing ecological advice and project support to an exciting range of projects with varying scale and complexity. They are a warm and welcoming team, where one of their main strengths lies in their collaboration. The group is dedicated to developing plans to help improve the world, working with a range of specialists across various environmental sectors, including landscape design, ecology, arboriculture, and biodiversity.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing sound ecological advice to a range of project managers.
2. Writing reports and being involved in protected species surveys.
3. Carrying out Phase 1 habitat surveys.

Requirements include:

1. A relevant degree and a strong understanding of current environmental legislation.
2. Membership (or eligibility) for CIEEM.
3. Valid UK Driving licence.
