Nursery Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a level 3 Nursery nurse to join a super nursery in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. If you enjoy doing exciting activities with children and have good knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we want to hear from you.

Person Specification:

1. NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
2. Experience of working in a nursery setting
3. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
4. Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
5. Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role

Responsibilities:

1. Key worker responsibilities, maintaining children's development records
2. To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
3. To work closely with the Room leader planning stimulating age appropriate activities
4. To promote diversity and equal opportunity
5. To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
6. To support children with personal care at sleep and meal times
7. To ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and inviting to parents and children
8. To attend monthly staff meetings, parent's evenings, nursery outings and further training as required
