My client is a very well-established firm with offices in central Newquay offering a broad range of services to a loyal portfolio of clients. They are now looking to employ an experienced practice specialist to join a very friendly group of professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare year end accounts and tax returns.
2. Assist clients with monthly bookkeeping and management accounts.
3. Prepare VAT returns and liaise with HMRC.

Qualifications:

This role would suit a qualified AAT, though consideration will also be given to candidates who have chosen not to undertake formal qualifications. A minimum of 18 months recent accountancy practice experience is an essential prerequisite given the technical nature of the position.
