Job Title: HLTA, Cover Supervisor & Cover Teacher

Location: Greater Manchester (Stockport & Tameside) & Surrounding Areas

Pay Rate: £110 - £160 per day (dependent on experience)

Axcis is looking to register experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), Cover Supervisor, or Cover Teachers who are looking for flexible and rewarding work in local primary schools. We are seeking dedicated professionals to register for exciting opportunities across Tameside and Stockport, starting after Easter.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for HLTAs, Cover Supervisors, and Cover Teachers to support local primary schools with short-term and long-term cover. Your responsibilities may include:

1. Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
2. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
3. Supporting pupils with their learning, including those with SEND requirements
4. Working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 based on experience and preference

Requirements:

1. Recent HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or Cover Teacher experience in a school setting
2. Ability to adapt to different year groups and subjects
3. Strong classroom management and organisational skills
4. A relevant qualification (HLTA status, Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification, or QTS for Cover Teachers)
