An established industry player seeks a dedicated professional to lead the approval process for nurse educators. This exciting role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high educational standards and support for nursing students. The successful candidate will implement robust systems for educator approval and monitor placements to enhance the learning environment for multi-professional learners. This role will oversee the process for supporting the approval of new and existing nurse educators at Practice and Primary Care Network (PCN) level, making a recommendation to the NHSE Quality Team for final approval. The role will also support local training hubs and HEIs with Student Nursing Associate (SNA) and Pre-Registration Nurse placements, ensuring the practices are adequately prepared for the support required to host students.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in supporting pre and post registration nursing students and have completed the SSSA course as a minimum. They will be passionate about maintaining high educational quality, supporting educators, and ensuring that primary care remains a high-quality learning environment for multi-professional learners.
They will work closely with stakeholders across SWL ICS, PCNs, Training Hubs, and HEIs to manage the standardisation of the approval process for nurse educators.
The post-holder will be a core member of the SWL Training Hub, working with a dynamic team of clinicians and managers. They will report to the Education & Training Lead, feed into the Learning Environment Approval and Placements delivery groups, while liaising with local Training Hubs across SWL.
